Co-Tech Copper Foil has reported net profits of NT$347 million ($11.41 million) for the first quarter of 2017, increasing 19.33% on quarter and 556.86% on year, according to a Digitimes report. Co-Tech is a provider of electrodeposited copper foil, a key material in making copper clad laminates (CCLs) for PCBs.
Gross margin stood at 28.89% in the first quarter of 2017, up by 2.73 percentage points from the previous quarter and 17.8 percentage points from a year earlier. Revenues for the January-March period totaled NT$1.801 billion, up by 14.29% from the previous quarter and by 58.22% from the same period last year.
