Nan Ya PCB Reports Weak Results in July

Taiwan-based Nan Ya Printed Circuit Board Corp. has posted sales of NT$2.305 billion ($75.98 million) for July, down by 5.4% from the previous month, and down by 6.38% compared to July of last year.

For the first seven months of this year, cumulative sales reached NT$15.248 billion ($502.6 million), 13% lower compared to the same period last year.

China’s economy accelerated for a second straight quarter as investment picked up, retail sales rebounded, and factory output accelerated in March. Gross domestic product increased 6.9% in the first quarter from a year earlier, compared with a 6.8% median estimate in a Bloomberg survey.
