Co-Tech Reports Record Net Profits for 4th Consecutive Quarter

Rising copper foil prices continued to buoy Co-Tech Copper Foil’s profitability in the second quarter of 2017, which hit a record high for the fourth consecutive quarter, according to Digitimes.

Co-Tech Copper Foil has reported net profits of NT$353 million ($11.6 million) for the second quarter of 2017, up by 1.8% sequentially and 205% year-on-year. The company posted revenues of NT$1.79 billion in the second quarter, down 0.7% on quarter but up 45.9% from the same period in 2016.

This month also marks the 65th anniversary of Epec LLC in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The company, founded in 1952, is the oldest printed circuit fabricator in North America. Half of its $50 million in sales is reported to be with printed circuits.
