GCT Marks 15th Anniversary

GCT GmbH, a producer of diamond coated tools for machining printed circuit boards, located in Weingarten, Germany, celebrates their fifteenth year.

In a company statement, GCT celebrate the occasion with the following:

"In 2003, GCT was established with the idea to develop and produce diamond coated tools for the mechanical machining of PCB. Economic machining of high volumes of IMS or high Tg laminates, CFRK, GRP, graphite or Zirkonoxid in the dental industry, are only possible by using diamond coated tools.

"Through the readiness for action and the motivation of our staff and shareholders, and through the confidence into the advantages of our products, we overcome all still existing resistance and GCT becomes a success story and one of the worldwide biggest manufacturer of diamond coated tools.

"The biggest present is the sixth diamond coating device which will be installed beginning of next year. Than GCT coating capacity will increase to approx. 1.5 M diamond coated tools yearly.”
