Cirexx International announced today that they will be exhibiting at the Northwest Electronics Design & Manufacturing Expo (NEDME) at the Tektronix facility in Beaverton, Oregon on October 3, 2018. Cirexx will be demonstrating their complete product lines of advanced printed wiring boards, including HDI and RF/microwave PCBs and flexible circuits, including rigid-flex. Applications engineers will be available at the booth to discuss the latest technology in these areas as well as Cirexx in-house layout/design and component assembly services.

“We have been working with many customers in the Northwest area for some time and this show is an excellent chance for us to see these customers and meet new ones,” said Don Kaufman, Cirexx sales and marketing executive. “This area is a critical location for some of the country’s premier aerospace/defense and medical manufacturing companies. We are excited to be a part of it,” he added.

The expo is sponsored by NEDME and hosted by Tektronix. The presentations vary from technology white papers to management sessions.

Cirexx products are used in many applications in addition to defense/aerospace, including medical, telecommunication and industrial controls. The company invites all attendees to come by the booth where there will be product samples of all their technologies along with helpful technical literature.

Vertical Conductive Structures, Part 1: Rethinking Sequential Lamination

05/13/2019 | Joan Tourné, NextGIn Technology BV
Sequential lamination, as it is used today in high density interconnect (HDI) and derivative technologies, is constrained by the fact that one cannot plate a blind hole deeper than the diameter of the hole. A larger hole allows processes to plate deeper. In fact, this manufacturing constraint has made it a challenge even to reliably plate and process blind holes up to a 1:1 aspect ratio.
