Uniflex Sees Loss Narrow in 3Q18

Flexible PCB maker Uniflex Technology saw its net losses narrow to NT$7.97 million ($0.26 million) in the third quarter of 2018, down from NT$49.81 million a year earlier, Digitimes report. Uniflex’ net losses came to NT$223 million for the first three quarters of 2018.

According to Digitimes, handsets will remain the largest application of Uniflex’s FPCB offering this year. The company has reportedly entered the supply chain of Korea-based smartphone brands by supplying NFC (near field communication) FPCBs.
