CHPT Gearing Up for Satellite PCBs

IC testing solution provider Chunghwa Precision Test Tech (CHPT) will kick off production in small volume for satellite communication PCBs at the end of 2019, according to a Digitimes report.

CHPT is reportedly teaming up with Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) led by Elon Musk to provide satellite communication PCBs for rockets designed and developed by SpaceX. Validation for CHPT's new special-purpose PCB segment already brought in about NT$30 million ($0.97 million) in revenues last year, Digitimes added.
