PCB Maker Apex Expects Sales Growth in 1Q19

PCB maker Apex International expects to post on-year revenue growth in the first quarter of 2019, and remains optimistic about its sales performance this year, according to Digitimes.

Apex reported consolidated revenues of NT$997 million ($32.3 million) for January 2019, up by 17.5% sequentially and by 15.8% year-on-year. Apex indicated its expanding business in the automotive sector will make a positive contribution to company revenues in 2019. Digitimes reports that Apex will start mass shipping 10-layer boards in the second half of 2019, which will further boost the PCB firm's revenues this year.
