Eastern Inspection Solutions Bolsters Bowman Dominance in Critical Northeast Region
March 15, 2019 | BowmanEstimated reading time: Less than a minute
Bowman, a manufacturer of precision XRF plating analysis instruments, has significantly bolstered its sales and service capacity in the New England states with the addition of Eastern Inspection Solutions to its global partner network.
Headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts, Eastern Inspection specializes in the sale and service of hand-held XRF analyzers and wanted a strong line extension into the benchtop XRF arena.
“We sought an introduction to Bowman because of its advanced detector technology, and because their reputation is they’re very customer-centric. That’s very much in line with our philosophy as well,” said Mike McCarthy, Eastern Inspection owner.
“EIS’s years of experience with hand-held EDXRF, (energy-dispersive XRF) particularly as it applies to solution analysis, make the company an excellent asset for Bowman. Also, with so much product interest coming to us from the Northeast Corridor, we were eager to expand with a company that understood this highly specialized instrument sector,” said Bowman President, Tom Leone.
Eastern Inspection Solutions will represent Bowman’s seven XRF models in both of Bowman’s major markets: printed circuit board manufacturing and general metal finishing. It will also supply Bowman XRF calibration standards.

Standard Of Excellence: Delivering Superior Customer Service
03/20/2024 | Anaya Vardya -- Column: Standard of ExcellenceI believe that creating the best possible customer experience is an opportunity many of us have been missing or overlooking for the past few years. We have been so busy focusing on technology, quality, innovation, and manufacturing processes (and for a good reason) that we may have neglected the way we treat our customers. Don’t get me wrong.
