Anaya Vardya, president and CEO of American Standard Circuits, will now be offering a series of webinars on various aspects of printed circuit board technologies. The first in the series, which is being called Wednesday Webinars, will be based on American Standard Circuits’ new book Fundamentals of Printed Circuit Board Technologies and is called PCB101.

When making the announcement, Vardya said, “In the spirit of cooperation and partnership we feel that it is important to help our customers, and anyone else who has an interest in PCBs, to get a better understanding of the fundamentals of PCB technologies. These webinars are open to everyone who wants to learn more abut our technology. The first of these Wednesday Webinars will be based on the three books we have written and circulated for free. The books have been very popular with thousands of downloads already and we think the webinars will supplement those nicely.”

The first on PCB 101 will be presented on Wednesday, June 10 at 11:00 am (CDT).

Things are heating up in the world of PCB design and manufacturing as well. In the past week, we published quite a bit of news—some good, some not so good. Some of the news is mixed, as we see with the EMS industry shipments rising YOY in April, but falling from the previous month. It’s nice to see NASA investing in American small businesses, but they didn’t really have a choice, did they?
