Battery Shortages Dampen Near-term Prospects of Notebook PCB Sales in 2008

The effects of the shortage of notebook-use batteries is spreading to printed circuit board (PCB) makers including Hannstar Board and Gold Circuit Electronics (GCE). Both companies originally expected November sales to sustain growth but are now expressing doubts that they will meet earlier forecasts, although they are optimistic that the outlook for 2008 will remain unchanged.Read the article
