Makers Optimistic of Germany's PCB Market
March 28, 2012 | I-Connect007Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Germany's overall PCB revenue for 2011 rose by about 4% over the previous year, according to the ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems.
December sales were weak compared with the previous month amid uncertainties in the global market, as well as the electronics economic development of some customers. These issues and the usual year-end inventory reductions have led to above average this fall.
Total new orders in December was 7% below the same month last year, while the cumulative value is 17% percent higher compared with 2010.The last two months of the year saw a noticeable, short-term increase in orders, caused by production back orders due to the floods in Thailand.About ZVEI
