HannStar Plans to Spin Off PCB Unit

Taiwan-listed HannStar Board Corp. plans to spin off its mainland printed circuit board unit in Hong Kong, raising US$90 million to fund future investment, according to reports from the Hong Kong newspaper South China Morning Post. The newspaper cited market sources as saying the unit, HannStar Board International, which is a world major PCB supplier for laptop computers, planned to launch its IPO in Hong Kong as early as December.Read the article.
