OM Group Electronic Chemicals Appoints Dr. Anson Zhang

Dr. Anson Zhang has been appointed general manager for Asia PCB, replacing Kim Liao, who is retiring this month after 37 years of service.  Dr. Anson Zhang earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from Xiamen University, China and spent the last 15 years working in various capacities for DOW Chemical Company, most recently as Global Business Development Director.

Leo Linehan, VP & GM Electronic Chemicals, said, "Kim Liao dedicated many years to the foundational development of the PCB business in Asia, which I thank him for.  Kim will consult with us over the next six months to ensure a smooth transition.  Dr. Anson Zhang brings with him a wealth of experience, not only in the PCB industry, but also in the semiconductor industry.  His [Anson] experience brings additional value and knowledge not only to Electronic Chemicals, but also to our customer base, adding value and enabling success for all.”
