German PCB Sales Up 2.6% in March

March PCB sales in Germany went up by 2.6% compared to the same period last year, mainly driven by the industrial electronics sector, according to ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems. Total revenue in the first quarter of the year, however, slid by 1.7 percent from the last year.

New orders jumped by 27 percent from February 2015, and were up by 11.5 percent compared to March 2014. This is considered the highest level of new orders in five years.

Book-to-bill ratio, meanwhile, reached a value of 1.05. The workforce size, meanwhile, increased by 5% year-on-year.
