At the recent SMTA International 2018 event, Dr. Kunal Shah, chief scientist and president of LiloTree, talks with I-Connect007 Managing Editor Nolan Johnson, and Technical Editor Happy Holden about the major issues in ENIG, such as hyper corrosion—which can be very benign, or very extreme, resulting to black pad—and how LiloTree is helping to improve the performance and efficiency of the ENIG finish processes.

Having sold out their booth space once again, the Dallas electronics business community showed up with lots of energy and ready to do business. SMTA Dallas has grown from a small chapter event to one that is now on its 3rd venue and pushing the envelope on SMTA’s 100-exhibitor rule. Industry veteran Gary Tanel, SMTA Director of Membership and Dallas’ event manager, has a lot to be proud of.
