Taiflex Revenue Up 24% YoY in July

Flexible copper-clad laminate (FCCL) provider Taiflex Scientific Co. Ltd has reported consolidated revenues of NT$951 million ($31.46 million) for July 2017, down by 1.2% month-on-month, but up by 24.4% year-on-year.

Revenue for the Electronics Materials (EM) business totaled NT$689 million ($22.5 million), up by 15.4% from the previous month, and an increase of 10.1% year-on-year. Cumulative revenues for the EM division reached NT$3.655 billion ($120.9 million), up by 6.6% compared to the same period last year.

The material toolbox idea first came up when I saw the IPC appendix list for standard 1-ply stack-ups. The idea is to make a very simple bill of materials, specifications and notes, and possibly use the same prepreg/resin in the laminate and in the core.
