Insulectro, a leading distributor of materials for use in the printed circuit board and printed electronics industries, has announced the hiring of Jeff Parker as Product Specialist for its Printed Electronics, (PE) business. Last year, Insulectro announced its entry in the PE Industry by focusing its long time PCB industry sales veteran Kevin Miller as general manager of this new enterprise. Mr. Parker will report to Mr. Miller.

Jeff Parker has a long history in PE most recently as Senior Application Engineer with Henkel Electronic Materials where he developed expertise in touch screen display and conductive inks. Prior to his long stint with Henkel, Mr. Parker was a Research Scientist with T/J Technologies.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Chemistry and has taken many advanced courses in his field at several universities. He is a patent-holder and has published papers for the Electrochemical Society.

Mr. Parker will partner with specialists at Insulectro as it continues its ramp up to be a One Source Distributor to PE manufacturers – a concept unique to the industry,

“Insulectro Printed Electronics has had a rapid nine months of growth as we have brought inks, substrates, and consumables to PE customers in a one stop distribution model,” enthused Vice President of Sales Kevin Miller, “Insulectro pioneered and defined distribution for PCB materials over the past 40 years. We have added to our offering by aggressively stepping out into PE. Now we can source it all – we distribute to the entire electronics industry. Add to that our 10 stocking locations across North America and our highly regarded Service Model and it’s easy to be excited about heading up this division.

“Jeff Parker coming aboard strengthens our position. His understanding of inks and our last year’s launch of DuPont’s MCM conductive inks is a perfect match. I’m looking forward to continuing to build our PE team at Insulectro with others like Jeff. Printed Electronics is a big industry and it’s expanding fast. Look to hear more from Insulectro,” concluded Miller.

In addition to DuPont® MCM Conductive Inks, Insulectro Printed Electronics distributes Coveme substrates, Kodak HCF films, Saint Gobain Polyimide films, and DuPont Teijin Films® among others including its own brand of Vistana Clarity™, an optical grade film. It also supplies Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSAs) from Saint Gobain, 3M™, and Kiwo®. Other consumables include Chromaline® Emulsions.
