Insulectro Brings Power Chats to Booth at IPC APEX EXPO 2016

Insulectro, a leading distributor of materials for use in the printed circuit board and printed electronics industries, has announced it will repeat its successful 13.5 minute power chats during this year’s IPC APEX EXPO at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 15 – 17, 2016.

The Insulectro Power Chats, branded ipc@IPC, will provide details on many new products, processes and services that Insulectro plans to introduce in 2016.

“We are pleased to continue our ipc@IPC - Insulectro Power Chats,” commented Ken Parent, Vice President of Sales & Product Management, “We’ve taken our top ten most interesting, new products and processes for 2016 and crafted short, info-packed learning sessions to be presented during IPC APEX EXPO. In 13.5 minutes per topic, attendees will learn the WHAT/WHY/HOW of these 10 game changers.”

Currently, speakers from manufacturers DuPont, Isola, Oak-Mitsui, and Pacothane will be featured.

 “Our new products can change the way a board is designed and fabricated. In our field testing, we’re hearing ‘We could have never made this board before’,” continued Parent. “We’re anxious to share our process information about our offerings in very concise power chats in our booth (Space 534).”

Insulectro Vice President of Technology Chris Hunrath agrees, “Over the past three years our IPC Power Chats have been enormously popular. Often times, it’s standing room only. That’s due to the intriguing topics we spotlight in our chats and in our booth. This year is no exception. For instance, although IPC APEX is primarily a PCB industry tradeshow, we know many of our customers are interested in printed electronics so we’ve included a 13.5 minute Boot Camp on PE. This week, the IPC APEX EXPO event has cast a long shadow across the news feeds. No, that’s not the right metaphor. No, not a shadow; shadows are dark. It would be more accurate to say IPC APEX EXPO cast a beam of illumination upon the news feeds for the electronics manufacturing industry. It was a bright, sunny California day as IPC APEX EXPO officially opened its doors on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the San Diego Convention Center. The Technical Conference began on the same day, while the program of standards meetings and professional development courses had been in progress since Saturday, Jan. 21. During the hustle and bustle of the show build-up over the weekend, it was clear to see that so many exhibitors had the confidence to bring so much major equipment and to invest in such spectacular booths to display it.

It was a packed house for two large events at IPC APEX EXPO 2023 on Monday, Jan. 23, as the EMS Leadership Summit was wrapped in the pale veil of caution, meanwhile hundreds more gathered to hear from IPC’s chief economist, Shawn DuBravac.
