Unimicron: YM ESG Planting Trees and Going Green
March 18, 2022 | UnimicronEstimated reading time: Less than a minute
To celebrate the Arbor Day and International Forest Day and develop ESG, UMTC collaborated with Yangmei District Hall to hold a tree planting activity. Agricultural Section of Yangmei District Hall provided 150 ornamental cherry trees (they are mountain cherry, Yoshino cherry, Yae cherry and Fuji cherry) and they were planted around the ecological pond that UMTC got the permission from Shimen Water Conservancy Association. All the staff of YM & SN plant came together to join this activity to create a cherry blossom trail and it will be a good place for everyone to take a walk and have a relax time.
UMTC wishes that the cherry trees will be in bloom and this trail will become a hot spot for cherry blossom viewing in Yangmei district in the future.
